Well, The world of the ACs is not developed to the point of detailing the amount of training an AC pilot gets, but neither dose the gundams series. If I recall, almost anyone with talent has been allowed to fly a mobile suit. And if you can consider the fact that in some gundams series the gundams are almost a staple unite, (O8th MS-Team) you will notice pilots skill are varied their also.

I think you got a point there and I think that you would do fairly well aginst a gundom, but it would still win. ;D

I like using an AC that has the power to launch as many missiles as possible, mix it with an extension part for more missiles and make sure the missiles travel at different speeds. It is very unlikely you can miss, the only real problem is anyone with anti missiles mixed with armored can run your ammo fairly good; So I make my arms humanoid with a laser blade or some kind of machinegun.

I use someone able to do a huge sweep and take lots of life of your opponent, so i use the gun with the most damage and heat damage combined with a core that shoots lots of lazzers real fast and some of the lazzes things that shoot at your foe from the air.

Summary: you use huge solid shell weapons on your arms, prefer EO (exceed orbit) over OB (Booster) cores and are one of the annoying people that always use obit cannons. Right?

Problem with your setup: With the fact that it must be a heavyweight because of such preferences (or it will be overweight) you can assume you are trying to take advantage of all areas of weaponry in case you run into someone designed to reduce one type of attack or another. The Orbit cannon is a good idea because they keep on your opponent (annoying, yet effective) but your core would have to be that of a lightweight to meet the rate of fire you want; reducing the AP of you setup, the larger core with EO ability never hits and uses more energy than it is worth, middleweight EO core is good but not designed for AP, but acceptable energy drain. So if you manage your preference with AP and ammo and energy you still lack speed.

I am wondering how you would put that together.

I haven't played AC in a while, but I know I concentrated on light-weight equipment and stayed moving in the air mostly.(Prolly what everyone does.) I think I used missles mostly, I would fly up and reign a load of missles right on top of them.

I lent my game to Sess, but that setup would fail up against Skeleton because I would change my extension to a piece that makes you unable to lock on.

And if you ask Sess (who never even jumps in a game) he will tell you that the Skeleton is something to fear. ;D

I sometimes use an all missile setup, I use the extension that gives interlocking support missiles to all missile types and use vertical (back unite) and direct are missiles with just enough power to keep it moving at a decent speed.

hmph. I laugh at that setup... so far I have gotten a winning streak over my brother( btw he is an armored core champ in my family). My AC is built on speed and has almost infinent energy. Though I am cheap and I use OP_INTENSIFY, I am rather good. Anyway... I completely wiped out ur mech so maybe you should rethink it a bit. And yes, ur mech does have energy problems. ;)
