Phish will notice this.
First you were born. Then you walked. Then.... you played this game.
So without further ado, I present Final Fantasy Tactics to you!!!!! As many more have wrote a lot epinions about the more medicore game in the Final Fantasy series, such as Final Fantasy 7 & 8,it is a shame that this game hasn't been recognized enough.
WARNING!!!!!!THIS PART MAY OR MAY NOT CONTAIN SPOILERS SO JUST WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The story: The story is definitely where this game shines. Unlike its predecessors, this story is not a love story. It is a story of wartime and legends that are not true. It will most certainly make you think next time you here of traitors and heroes in history. This is a long, weaving, twisted and twervy, and complicated story with betrayals at every interval. It is more than "They lived happily ever after The end". Finally....
The Graphics: They have no noses. It's weird seeing these characters without noses. But, the battlefield graphics are good, nothing extra great or nothing. I think the spells are neat and they don't take forever and a day like those on Final Fantasy 8, which is good.
The sound: Compared to most RPG's I have played, this had fairly good, but not the best....
The gameplay: We save the best for last. The AT, turned based battles are fun, but after you get T.G. Cid, the gameplay is horribly easy. And the hardest battle is in the middle of the game, which is really stupid. What ever happened to the end being the hardest?? The many characters you can change your jobs into vary from mages to fighters to some pretty stupid classes, like caluculators and dancers, though all classes are useful sometimes, espcially when needing to obtain certain skills.
The skills. You collect job points, or JP to get certain abilities, varying from action attacks to skills that alter your movement. You can have one extra attack command other than your job class. (Ex. If you are a ninja and you wanted black magic, you could assign black magic as long as you have obtained the required job class for yourself), one Reaction ability, like counter, one support ability, like Equip change, and one movement ability, like move +1. It allows you to customize your guy more.
Special guys. Sometimes, one can obtain special guys with special abilities, such as Agrias, which has Holy Knight abilities rather than normal squire abilities.
Well if I might add some more to it. But this is an extrodinary game.
Thanks for your time...
JK
