So today, the Avalanche goaltender Patrick Roy is supposed to announce his retirement from the game after 18 seasons.
Since I live in Montreal, I saw him play for the Canadiens at the beginning of his career. He had a big influence on me - because of him, I once wanted to be a goalie, just like him. But in any case, I have changed since that time, but the fact remains that I've always respected him.
To me, he is the best goaltender of all time, and I am proud that on my walls, a poster of him has had its place.

Yes he was a great goalie, I saw him at Joe Louis Arena fight Mike Vernon, and the next year Chris Osgood... He was a true thug. He will be missed...

Hmm... I thought Roy retired after last season... OH well... but then again, it was coming.
Kinda sad though... he's still as top-notch as he was before.
