I enjoy this Mario and it is my favorite. It is one of the best games to grace the NES. I love being a racoon.

Mario 3 is indeed a great game, but not a classic RPG.
Moving. ;D

Being a stone statue and the shoe are the greatest things to grace such an old game, We need more comedy in the way we dispatch our foes.

I first played it on All-Stars and 'til today it's still one of my favorite Mario games along with Super Mario World. Not to mention it made a HUGE leap from the original Super Mario Bros. (And the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2, which was very much alike to the first) in terms of sheer gameplay variety. It felt more like a sequel than an expansion, which 2 basically was for me.

The Japanese Super Mario2 was different than the one on All Stars?
