Lately I've been reading and watching the Initial D, and the racing scenes always leaving me in Ahh. Takumi, the main character, is this extremely talented streetracer that is a master of bringing out the full potential of a car and he is also the best drifter around;D . The best part about his skills is that he didn't just wake up one day and have them like some anime characters. Takumi had to work extemely hard on the skills that he attained. Bunta, his dad, would make him drive with a cup of water in the cup holder, and in doing do this he learned to control the car with finesse.
Enough with how he attained his skills, unless you really want to know:p . The downhill racing in this graphic novel/anime is what really gets me going:D . Every corner is a great battle between the two drivers and their car, and a racer doesn't need a high performance car for the downhill. A racer must have skill and technique to attack the downhill.
With Tak's great racing skill he has several other racers always wanting to beat him. The most prominent racers chasing after him are the Takeshi brothers (Rotary Brothers). Ryousuke, the older brother, is a complete genius when it comes to racing. After watching a person race, he can analyze and pin point the persons weak spot.
Well, enough with my ranting. What are your guys thoughts on Initial D?

Well I have only seen a few episodes of this. *wishes he had seen them all* But anways from what I did see I loved it. The anime was just amazing. And around this stupid place of Wisconsin I can't find much of any sort of manga what so ever. And the little bit of the anime I saw was over at my friends house that he had downloaded off the net.
But yeah from what I did see I loved it and really enjoyed the little bit of the story I saw. The character development was just amazing.
