I don't think meeting any of them would be a rather enjoyable encounter.
Vampire, because I could live as a creature of the night.

I have seen Ghosts I swear Anyway if I could meet any it would also be a vampire. I would want to be bitten and live eternally in the darkness of night. It would be cool to own a castle and sleep in a coffin to...I also like blood

I don't think they have any 'powers'. They're just the living dead. I guess immortality would be a power, but they don't live forever only until their bodies finish decomposing. They say they need to feed on blood, to prevent their bodies from it. They're also said to 'blush' when they feed, because of the new blood put into their bodies.

Hmm... What about any of the powers depicted in video games and popular belief? All of that cant have been made up along the way, I would think maybe one could be a resemblance of a vampire power (if their where any).

Bram Stoker, the rest is old wives tales passed down over the years. He even gave them fangs. Vampires were just the living dead before he came along. One reason they stayed in Europe was because they couldn't cross water. That's one idea I do believe.
*INFORMATION BELOW MAY BE CONSIDERED GRAPHIC*
Women wore chastitiy belts to prevent vampires from raping them. The males were said to have an 'eternal erection' from rigor mortis.

Maybe Vamps did exist... but because of all the disease we can get in blood ... maybe they died

They could very well still exist. Places such as Russia are wide open spaces where no one goes much anymore. For all we know they still prey on Europeans. ;D

I highly doubt they exist or ever did. There aren't enough traces to suggest they do. Its like the Boogey man, You don't see him ever...I hope

ME........... i get pretty scared of myself sometimes lol ........... but really i have to say that i am almost completely burn out on vampires. They are cool and the "thought" of living for all of eternity but i can do that anyway but wrong discussion. My step sister has been in love with vampires since she was old enough to know what theywere so she thought she was one and later that she would be their queen... ok enough of that... but I'm more into the elves and fairies and dragons side of the mythical creatures. I actually belive though that Unicorns existed at one time but the females lost their horns first becuz they did'nt need them... as in most females of species and eventually so did the males. Becuz (i own horses my dad has a horse farm alot of time goes there lol) in the middle of their forehead is a swirl of their hair which is probably a meeting of the bones as well. some have white spots here as well but if u read books and watch movies this swirl is right where the popular belief of a unicorns horn should be. So call me crazy if u want to i do but i believe unicorns did exist and who cares about vampires anymore they are just getting too old for me

Ahh, Unicorns possible... I have seen pictures of a whale called a narwhale that has a long horn so why not horses. The only thing I doubt they had is wings...
